Karbonn Rebel vs Rebel Pro: which phone should you buy in today’s first sale?

Karbonn Rebel and Rebel Pro

Today, Wednesday 4 November 2026, is the day Karbonn fans have been waiting for: the first sale of the Karbonn Rebel and Karbonn Rebel Pro in India. Both phones launched in India on 2 November 2026, marking Karbonn’s return, sold as Amazon Specials. This guide compares them side by side to answer one question: should you buy the cheaper Rebel or stretch to the Pro?

Both phones share the same 5G, dual-SIM basics and large batteries. What separates them is how much battery, screen, camera and charging you get for the money.

Karbonn Rebel vs Rebel Pro prices in India

Price is the first difference, and it is small. The Karbonn Rebel launched at ₹11,999, with an MRP of ₹13,999, while the Karbonn Rebel Pro launched at ₹12,499, with an MRP of ₹14,499. Both are sold through Amazon.in, with launch offers available at the first sale.

In other words, the Pro costs ₹500 more at launch, and ₹500 more after the bank offer. That is a small gap for what the Pro adds.

Short answer: Rebel Pro. For ₹500 more, you get the better display, camera and charging; the Rebel only wins on battery.

Karbonn Rebel vs Rebel Pro display and battery

Here the two phones trade blows, and your daily habits decide the winner. The Karbonn Rebel has a slightly larger battery at 7,000mAh, but it uses 15W wired charging, a 90Hz display and 530-nit peak brightness. The Pro has a smaller 6,000mAh battery, but a faster 120Hz display, a brighter 720-nit peak brightness and faster 20W wired charging.

In practical terms, the Rebel should last longer between charges, thanks to that bigger battery, while the Pro should feel smoother to scroll and be easier to read outdoors, with a shorter wait when you plug in to charge.

Karbonn Rebel vs Rebel Pro cameras

The camera is the clearest reason to choose the Pro. The Karbonn Rebel has a 50MP AI rear camera at 1080p/30fps and an 8MP front camera. The Karbonn Rebel Pro has a 64MP rear camera at 1080p/30fps and an 8MP front camera. Both are listed as IP54-rated, with a durable design and a water- and dust-resistant build for everyday use.

We have not yet tested either camera hands-on in a full review, so we are not giving either phone a score or a star rating, and we are not claiming one phone takes better photos in real life. On paper, the Pro has the higher-resolution rear sensor.

Karbonn Rebel vs Rebel Pro: which should you buy?

Buy the Karbonn Rebel if battery life is your top priority, your budget is fixed, or you simply want the cheapest new Karbonn 5G phone.

Buy the Karbonn Rebel Pro if you want the smoother 120Hz display, the brighter screen and the stronger camera, and the ₹500 extra fits your budget.

Our first impressions of the Karbonn Rebel Pro are here. The Karbonn Rebel Pro product page is here. Whichever you choose, check three things before the 12:00 IST sale window: first, confirm you are buying the Pro (not the standard Rebel) if you are paying the Pro price; second, confirm that the bank offer is applied, which brings the Rebel to ₹10,999 and the Rebel Pro to ₹11,499; third, check the return and exchange policy, so you are not left holding a phone that does not fit your needs. Read our earlier coverage of the Karbonn Rebel and Rebel Pro launch. And if you are spending far more, our Apple iPhone 17 First Impressions shows what a very different price point buys.

We do not publish scores for products we have not hands-on tested. Prices above are official launch prices.

Our pick: Rebel Pro

CompareIdea verdict

Our pick: the Karbonn Rebel Pro, for ₹500 more. At ₹12,499 against the Rebel’s ₹11,999, the Pro buys a smoother 120Hz, 720-nit display, a stronger 64MP camera and faster 20W charging – the upgrades you will notice every day.

That small premium is worth it for most buyers, because the two phones otherwise share the same core hardware, storage and software support, so the Pro simply gives you more of the things that matter in daily use.

Based on official specifications; no hands-on testing.

The one real reason to save ₹500 is battery: the Rebel’s 7,000mAh battery against the Pro’s 6,000mAh. If maximum time between charges matters more than display and camera, buy the Rebel – otherwise, buy the Rebel Pro.
