Four gadgets that got cheaper this week in India — verified prices, 7 November 2026

Every morning our price watch checks the prices of the products we track across Flipkart, Croma, Vijay Sales and Amazon.in, and records what actually moved. Today, 7 November 2026, it verified 109 prices. Four gadgets genuinely dropped. Two more went out of stock, which matters just as much if you were about to buy. Here is what changed, with the retailer, the exact variant, and the date each price was checked — because a price without those three things is a rumour.

The foldable: Galaxy Z Fold8 down Rs 7,000 at Vijay Sales

The biggest rupee drop of the day is the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8. Vijay Sales lists the 12GB RAM / 256GB storage model in Lavender at Rs 1,67,999 today, down from Rs 1,74,999 when we checked yesterday, 6 November. That is a Rs 7,000 fall in a day, and the phone is in stock.

The comparison that makes it interesting is Flipkart, where the same phone in Cream is still Rs 1,79,999. So the same foldable is Rs 12,000 cheaper at Vijay Sales than at Flipkart today. Foldables rarely move this fast outside a sale event, and a Rs 7,000 one-day drop on a Rs 1.7 lakh phone is worth noticing even if you were not planning to buy this week — it tells you the street price is softening.

The watch: Galaxy Watch9 down 16.8% at Croma — with one caveat

The steepest percentage drop is the Samsung Galaxy Watch9. Croma lists the 34mm Graphite model with a Black Sport Strap (Wi-Fi + 4G) at Rs 34,949 today, against Rs 41,999 on 5 November — down Rs 7,050, or 16.8%.

Read the caveat before you celebrate. A move that steep in two days is exactly the kind our watch flags for a second look, and the variant matters: Flipkart’s Watch9 is a different configuration, the 40mm Bluetooth version, at Rs 37,999. If you want the 34mm Wi-Fi + 4G model, Croma’s Rs 34,949 is the price to beat today, and it is Rs 3,050 cheaper than Flipkart’s Bluetooth version. But do compare like with like — smartwatch prices swing hard between sizes and connectivity, and the wrong comparison can make any deal look better than it is.

The TV: Samsung S90H OLED down Rs 1,198 on Flipkart

The Samsung S90H OLED TV, 55-inch 4K Smart Tizen model, is Rs 1,18,562 on Flipkart today, down from Rs 1,19,760 on 5 November — a Rs 1,198 drop. It is the smallest move on this list, and the least exciting on its own. But OLED TV prices move in small steps, and this one is now Rs 46,338 below its Rs 1,64,900 MRP. If you have been watching this TV, the direction is down, slowly and steadily, which is how good TV prices usually behave.

The phone: Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G down Rs 1,095 on Flipkart

The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G is Rs 57,890 on Flipkart today for the Sunrise 256GB + 12GB version, down from Rs 58,985 on 5 November — a Rs 1,095 drop. The listing shows two left in stock, so this is not a price you can sit on for a week. Against its Rs 74,999 MRP it is now Rs 17,109 cheaper, which is the kind of gap that makes the mid-range interesting: the phone is selling for roughly three-quarters of its launch sticker price.

What went out of stock

Price drops are only half the story. The iPhone 17 is now listed as “Currently unavailable” on Amazon.in — it was Rs 92,900 and in stock yesterday. Flipkart’s listing is still live at Rs 97,300 for the Mist Blue 256GB, so the phone is not gone, but the Amazon route has closed for now. And Flipkart’s Galaxy S26 (256GB) and Galaxy S26+ have both flipped to “Notify Me”, as has the Galaxy Z Flip 8 256GB. If any of those was on your list, today is a waiting day, not a buying day.

How to read a price drop

Three things before you act on any of this. First, check the variant: storage, colour and connectivity change the price more than any discount does. Second, check the date: every price above was verified today, 7 November 2026, and prices on these sites can change overnight — yesterday’s drop is not tomorrow’s price. Third, compare across retailers before you buy: the Fold8 is Rs 12,000 cheaper at Vijay Sales than Flipkart today, and that gap is worth more than any single drop on this list.
