Nikon Z50 II
CompareIdea verdict
Nikon - On sale now. The Z50 II brings Nikon flagship autofocus down to an APS-C body: a 20.9MP sensor, the EXPEED 7 processor from the Z9, 9-type subject detection, 5.6K oversampled 4K video, and Pre-Release Capture at up to 30fps. The trade-off is the sensor: at 20.9MP it resolves less detail than the 26MP Sony and Fujifilm rivals, and the two-lens kit is a big first purchase for a first-time Nikon buyer. At $1,349.95 for the two-lens kit at Best Buy, checked 2026-11-05, it suits a Nikon shooter who wants a Z9-level autofocus and a complete two-lens kit in one box; anyone who already owns Z lenses should weigh the body alone.
