Canon EOS R50 V
CompareIdea verdict
Canon - On sale now. The EOS R50 V is Canon video-first APS-C camera: a 24.0MP sensor, DIGIC X, Dual Pixel CMOS AF II, 4K60 10-bit Canon Log 3, and a power-zoom lever for the RF-S14-30mm PZ lens. The trade-off is that it has no EVF, so it is a poor choice for anyone who shoots stills through a viewfinder, and its video-first controls take learning. At $799.99 for the body at Best Buy, checked 2026-11-05, it suits a creator who films video and wants Canon colour and autofocus in a small body; the 14-30mm PZ kit is also $799.99, so buyers who want the power-zoom lens should take the kit.
