Samsung Galaxy A56

Our verdict: Samsung - On sale now. The Galaxy A56 is the balanced Samsung mid-ranger in this batch: a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display at 120Hz reaching 1,200 nits, a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilisation, a 5,000mAh battery with 45W charging, and IP67 dust and water resistance, on an Exynos 1580 with Android 15 and One UI 7. The trade-off is that it costs $129.01 more than the Galaxy A26 for a similar screen and battery, with the gains in charging speed and chip power rather than in the display. At $299.00 at Amazon.com, checked 2026-11-04, it suits a buyer who wants a dependable Samsung phone with fast charging and a bright display; a buyer who wants the best camera in this price range should compare the Pixel 9a.
