Samsung Galaxy A36

Our verdict: Samsung - On sale now. The Galaxy A36 is the Samsung mid-ranger for a buyer who wants the A56 shape: a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display at 120Hz, a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilisation, a 5,000mAh battery with 45W charging, and IP67 dust and water resistance, on a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 with Android 15 and One UI 7. The trade-off is the price: at $339.99 it costs $40.99 more than the Galaxy A56, while the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 sits below the A56 Exynos 1580, so the A36 only makes sense for a buyer who specifically wants a Snapdragon chip in a Samsung phone. At $339.99 at Amazon.com, checked 2026-11-04, it suits that buyer; most buyers should buy the Galaxy A56 instead, which costs less and offers the stronger chip.
